Educator burnout is real — and too many professional development events address teaching strategies while ignoring the person doing the teaching. Restore & Rise was created because we believe that when we equip educators to care for themselves and recognize trauma in their students, everyone in the classroom thrives.
This Educator Wellness Summit is a one-day, communal experience designed for educators who give everything — combining culturally responsive, trauma-informed teaching practices with wellness-centered activities in a space of shared learning, restoration, and renewal that fills your cup and reignites your spark.
Wellness Sessions will be offered including: Sound Bath, Yoga, Breathwork & Meditation, Mindful Journaling, Creative Expression, and Somatic Stretching
Attendees will walk away with:
- Practical, culturally responsive and trauma-informed strategies you can use immediately
- Wellness tools and practices to sustain you far beyond this one day
- A reignited spark — because the reason you chose this work still matters
- Restored energy and a renewed sense of purpose for the work you do every single day

Attendees are eligible to receive 7 Continuing Education hours for their attendance. Certificates will be provided by BGSU.
