Last Updated: October 2025

Welcome to the Multiethnic Advocates for Cultural Competence (“MACC”) website. We’re glad you’re here. Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using our website (maccinc.net) or registering for our services.

By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please don’t use our services.

Educational Purpose / No Medical Advice

The content on this website and in our trainings—including the Ohio Navigator curriculum, “The Right Dose,” and other modules—is for educational and professional development purposes only.

MACC isn’t a healthcare provider. Our materials don’t constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Using our website or participating in our trainings doesn’t establish a doctor-patient relationship. Professionals using our training are responsible for exercising their own independent professional judgment in the care of their clients.

Protecting Our Training Materials

The content, features, and functionality of this website and our training programs are the exclusive property of MACC and its licensors.

We’ve invested years developing our curriculums (including the Ohio Navigator program). To protect this work and ensure quality control, we have clear boundaries:

  • No Recording: Please don’t record (audio or video) any MACC training session, workshop, or webinar without express written consent from MACC leadership.
  • No Redistribution: Please don’t reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or “re-teach” our training materials to others unless you’re a certified MACC trainer operating under a valid licensing agreement.
  • Personal Use Only: Course materials provided to you are for your individual professional use only.

Unauthorized use of MACC’s intellectual property may result in immediate termination of your certification and legal action.

Event Registration & Cancellations

  • Payment: Full payment is required to secure your spot in fee-based trainings.
  • Cancellations & Refunds: Refund policies may vary by specific event. Please refer to the specific registration page for the cancellation deadline and refund terms for your selected training. MACC reserves the right to cancel any training due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel, we’ll offer a full refund or credit for a future training.
  • Certificates: CEU certificates will only be issued to participants who attend the full duration of the training and complete any required evaluations.

User Conduct

We expect all users and training participants to maintain a professional and respectful environment. MACC reserves the right to remove any participant from a webinar or training (without refund) if they engage in:

  • Harassment or hate speech
  • Disruptive behavior that impedes the learning of others
  • Sharing of Zoom links with unregistered individuals

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services (like partner agencies or resources) that aren’t owned or controlled by MACC. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MACC, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses—resulting from: (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use our services; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on our website; or (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
