SUMMARY:Refill Your Cup: Self-Compassion for Helping Professionals
DESCRIPTION:Self-compassion is often misunderstood as self-indulgence or weakness\, yet research shows it is strongly linked to resilience\, emotional well-being\, and sustainable helping. This interactive\, experiential workshop introduces participants to the science and practice of self-compassion through evidence-based strategies developed by Dr. Kristin Neff and colleagues. \nThrough guided reflection\, experiential exercises\, discussion\, and practical skill-building\, participants will explore the three core components of self-compassion—mindfulness\, common humanity\, and self-kindness—and learn tools they can apply in both their personal and professional lives. \nParticipants will leave with practical strategies to reduce self-criticism\, build resilience\, and reconnect with their inner resources so they can continue showing up with greater presence\, compassion\, and authenticity. \nPresented by: Yasmin Irfani\, M.S.\, C-PRS \nCEUS Available: 2.0 hours for Ohio CSWMFT Board and Ohio Certified Peer Support licensees \nClick link to register: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/r9mlM5xSRdCe8ciyWYeAiw
