The Georgetown University National Technical Assistance Center for Children's Mental Health in partnership with Change Matrix, LLC and Sound Options Group, LLC in the Collaboration LAB invites you to participate in the Leading Through Conflict training. This interactive, three-day training will be held September 13-15, 2011 in Washington, DC. The cost of the training for each participant is $750 for registration plus travel expenses.
Please feel free to circulate this e-mail, and the attached information on the training, to others who may be interested in attending.
This training is designed to help participants lead through conflict more effectively. As interested parties in conflict, leaders will learn to intentionally make choices that move the process forward productively and model the way for others. When leading others through conflict, leaders will be able to create an environment and facilitate dialogue that leads to mutually acceptable resolution. And when leaders decide to make decisions to resolve disputes, they will
have to use tools to keep others engaged in the process. For three days, leaders will grow in their awareness of themselves, their knowledge of the complexity of engaging in conflict, and their ability to use a process and set of tools to engage in conflict meaningfully.
Space is very limited, so we encourage folks to register today.
